Avarua Historical Walking Tour

Put on your walking shoes & join us on this informative walking tour. The Avarua Historical Walking tour is a   hour leisurely paced guided walk through the historical parts of Avarua, down town. The tour is conducted by our knowledgeable guide who will trace the Cook Islands history from Polynesian settlement of Rarotonga to the discovery and colonization by New Zealand  administration, the missionaries and through to independence. The tour concludes at a nearby location with fruits and juice refreshments.

The tour is 1.5 hours, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Meet at 3.00PM in downtown (outside Trader's Jack Restaurant) to start the tour. Bookings essential.
