We are proud and delighted to help introduce the island of Mitiaro as an extension of visitors experience to the Cook Islands.
Mitiaro Island is the latest of the outer islands to join the Cook Islands Tourism industry. However it was the expressed wish of her people to have a low key, unobtrusive tourist industry that will bring benefit directly to the people. A unique type of home-stay was designed which gives visitors and hosts alike the most comfortable experience on the island. So far, three families have built traditional purpose built thatched huts for host families to accommodate visitors. The island, besides its unique and laid back lifestyle, also possesses beautiful caves and fresh water pools, plus many other features to keep you engaged.
