These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website www.cookislandstours.co.ck (the “Website”) and any bookings made for tours, transfers, activities, accommodation, or other services provided by Cook Islands Tours Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing the Website or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us Cook Islands Tours Ltd is a 100% locally owned inbound tour operator in Rarotonga, Cook Islands. We offer tours, activities, airport/domestic transfers, accommodation, and holiday options. All rates are in NZD and include 15% Government Tax (subject to change if taxes increase).

2. Bookings and Reservations

    • Bookings are on a request basis and confirmed only upon our written acknowledgement and payment (where required).

    • You must provide accurate details: passenger names, ages (adult: over 12 years), flight details, dates, and any special requirements.

    • Some services require a minimum numbers to operate.

    • We act as principal for our own transfers and tours, and as agent for third-party providers (e.g., other tours, domestic flights). Third-party terms may apply.

3. Prices and Payment

    • Prices are valid for travel from 01 April 2025 to 31 March 2026, unless amended due to tax changes, fuel costs, or circumstances beyond our control.

    • Full payment is required at booking unless otherwise stated. We accept credit card, bank transfer.

    • Payments by bank transfer should be made to: ANZ Avarua, Account 269879, Branch 010975, Swift ANZBCKCR. No fees borne by us.

4. Cancellations, Amendments, and No-Shows

    • Transfers: First amendment free; subsequent NZ$10 each. Cancellations within 7 days or no-shows: 100% fee. Unused services: no refund.

    • Tours/Activities: First amendment free; subsequent NZ$50 plus supplier fees. Cancellations within 30 days: NZ$100 plus supplier fees. No-shows: 100% fee.

    • Group bookings (20+ adults): Cancellations must be advised 1 month prior, otherwise full charges apply.

    • Progressive Tour closeout: 19 December 2025 to 19 January 2026.

    • If you miss a transfer, a later one may be available for NZ$50 extra (payable directly).

5. Your Responsibilities

    • Arrive on time for pick-ups and present vouchers.

    • Ensure valid passports, visas, health requirements, and travel insurance (strongly recommended).

    • Comply with local laws and behave responsibly during services.

6. Changes and Cancellations by Us We reserve the right to cancel or alter services due to weather, minimum numbers, or unforeseen events. We will offer alternatives or refunds where possible, but are not liable for additional costs.

7. Liability and Risk

    • We provide services with reasonable care but are not liable for acts of third parties, force majeure, or personal injury/loss unless due to our negligence.

    • Travel involves risks; you participate at your own risk. Public liability insurance up to NZD 5 million held by us.

8. Website Use

    • Content is for personal use only. No unauthorized copying or commercial use.

    • We may change website content/prices without notice. Information is accurate to the best of our knowledge but not guaranteed.

9. Complaints Notify us immediately of any issues during your trip. Formal complaints in writing within 30 days of service end.

10. Privacy We collect and use personal data as per our Privacy Policy .

11. Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Cook Islands.
